While today’s business climate presents an array of challenges for corporations, the risk of damage to the company’s good name and reputation is one of the most difficult risk areas to minimize. Damage to your company’s reputation could have catastrophic effects. How your company deals with a crisis will be remembered long after the crisis has passed. This presentation will address crisis management planning with strategies that specifically target the firm’s reputational risk areas.

Our Featured speaker is Devon Blaine: Devon is CEO of The Blaine Group, the 20th largest public relations firm in Los Angeles according to the Los Angeles Business Journal.  Blaine’s background with fast-track, emerging-growth companies of all types includes overseeing implementation of an award-winning international financial, trade and consumer public relations effort for start up, growth and public companies.  She has been three times president of the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA), the past president California chapter of National Small Business United, and  an elected delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business.  Additionally, she is a past president and a founding board member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and was honored as their Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 1987.  She is also an active member of the Los Angeles Mid-Market Professionals, TEAM, PRO, Bruin Professionals, Association of Venture Founders, the Chief Executive Officers' Clubs, and the Public Relations Society of America.
